We are excited to now have a new fundraising platform for our chapter teams and all supporters in the sport to utilize. Peer-to-peer (P2P) campaigns empower our supporters to raise funds for Ally Remembered Foundation (ARF) by creating their own fundraising pages, either as an individual or a team. We are pleased to have partnered with FlipCause as our new platform partner.
The P2P feature allows you to:
Engage your friends, family and team supporters as active fundraisers, turning them into advocates for our mission.
Expands campaign reach by allowing individuals and teams to share personalized pages with their networks.
Increases donations through individual fundraising efforts.
With the P2P Tool, our supporters can set individual fundraising goals, customize messages to share your stories, and invite others to contribute - all within the Paintball Players Against Domestic Violence campaign. This feature creates a collaborative fundraising environment, giving all supporters the chance to make a meaningful impact on the campaign’s success.
How it works:
Once your team page is created, or your personal account if individual only, connect with all of your family, friends, co-workers etc on your own social media networks, sharing our mission in a highly authentic way that drives results. This process allows our cause to reach a new audience through trusted relationships, making it as effective as word-of-mouth marketing.
Imagine a friend asking you to contribute to their campaign for their birthday or a relative sharing their page to support a school fundraiser. These personal appeals often lead to immediate action. With our Flipcause P2P platform, you can amplify this effect across your entire supporter base to achieve incredible results for ARF.
Account setup
To sign up and create your personal account fundraising page and Team page, follow these steps:
1. Click the Become a Fundraiser: If you’re on the campaign landing or main page. Or: Start a Page!: If you received an email invite from the organization. 2. Enter your first name, last name and email address. 3. Optional: Upload an image. 4. Select Sign Up as a Fundraiser.
5. Customize your fundraising page by entering:
A personal campaign title
A fundraising goal and end date
A personal campaign story and why you support ARF
6. Choose to fundraise as an
Individual (No Team)
Join a Team
Create a New Team
Note: Use Create a New Team to build your own paintball team’s custom campaign page. Only 1 team page per team so decide which member is going to create and be the admin of the page. You can contact Andy to have a team page built if needed.
Join A Team
You can also click Join a Team and search the list for teams to join and support. Select Choose your option for the team drop down list and make your selection.
Create a team Under this option, complete the required fields, add your logo then submit a team bio, roostered members or story about the team and why you’re an Ally Remembered supporter.
You can add pictures and hyperlinks to your own social media etc. so be creative!
Peer To Peer Sharing There are a number of options to share your team or individual campaign page across social media. Your can copy and paste the URL of the page as one option that’s available on the share icon.
One of the easiest ways is to be signed into your Social Media sites/apps. Navigate to your team page then click on the Share Icon, shown below. A menu of app options will open, including a "copy" option. Copy will allow you to paste the URL of your team page anywhere needed.
Once the app you want to share to is picked, you will be directed to the app selected with a link. Click on the link, complete the needed steps for posting in the selected app and done.
Share your team or individual page on your chossen app and engage family, friends, co-workers and everyone else you know, and encourage them to donate and become a fundraiser and share your campaign themselves.
